current obsession: korres lip butter

*I realise this may not be relevant to male readers, and for that, I apologise!*

So... this month's obsession thus far has been these little pots of lip butter by Greek brand, Korres. They pride themselves on using natural ingredients in their products and as a result, the price point of these lip butters are a little bit higher than usual - but not overly extortionate at £6 a pop! They come in different shades and are actually a little bit tinted.

Anyway, what I find so good about them is the variety of shades they come in (I currently own Mango, Quince, Pomnegranate, Jasmine and Plum) and I love them all! Here's a quick run through of each one:

Jasmine: a light pink - cute for those days when dramatic eye make up has been applied.
Mango: a coral colour with a slight tinge of orange - but it looks fabulous on!
Pomnegranate: a pinky colour
Plum: looks purpley pink in the tub but it actually looks like a subtle pink on the lips.

And finally, my personal favourite: Quince. It smells divine (kind of like a pear and strawberry fusion) and the colour is ideal for my skin tone! It's a pinky colour which is similar to pomnegranate but a shade kinder in my eyes.

A lot of people have a problem with using tubs as they aren't hygenic or whatever but for me, I don't think this is a problem at all.

Overall: the lip balm is moisturing and lasts for quite a few hours and after that, leaves lips smooth. The subtle tint is ideal for those who don't want to plough on lipstick, etc, etc and the pots are of a reasonable size that can be easily slipped into a coat pocket or the handbag.

On another note: Versace x H&M launches tomorrow.... bad bad bad as I'm on a shopping ban for 2012! (More on that soon!)
