my week #60 & an experiment!

My month of June is shaping up to be quite a busy and physical one. It centres around doing things in and around the home (the garden is particularly back breaking) and I'm desperate to get as much done by the end of August as is possible.

In the beginning of the week, I mainly did things not worth recording (tidying, cleaning, painting) and towards the end of the week, things got more insane. I've blurred out some of the more confidential things but you can see the amount of to-dos escalated on Friday and Saturday!

I also did an experiment this week - in an effort to create more space (again, to see if a 'week on two page' layout would work for me from September onwards), I moved some of these tasks to a DayTimer hotlist.

Judging by how many to-dos are on Friday and Saturday alone, I think I need to write more on these hotlist sheets. Overall, I think this layout could work - but that's obviously dependent on how busy I am each day. With enough space for 23 tasks on these sheets, that should be plenty for the week. If I were to use this system, I think I would write all home and personal to-dos on these hotlists and anything related to medschool on the actual diary pages instead.

I'm reluctant to move out of these Smythson inserts so I will definitely persevere until the end of 2013 and this could well be a tweak I will make use of.

How has your week been?
