summer fragrance

Two summers' ago, my summer fragrance was Escada Moon Sparkle (kinda like a sickly sweet fragrance) but since then I've grown up slightly and flit between Miss Dior Cherie, Marc Jacobs Daisy, Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh and Paco Rabonne's Lady Million (I used a sample and loved it).

My top summer fragrances from these are the two Marc Jacobs fragrances. You may well ask the question as to why I would have two of the same variant (in Marc Jacobs Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh) but the two do have some differences. For me, Eau So Fresh is a more long lasting and summery fragrance than Daisy is. Daisy is perfect for those not so hot but sunny days whereas, for me, Eau So Fresh is more for the very summery days.

Either way, I love both.

Marc Jacobs Daisy (normal one):

Not much difference in the bottles as you can see but I promise you that they do smell different! Also, big bottles cos my sister and I share perfumes!

what's in my bag #5

Haven't done one of these in a while! A lot has changed since my last 'what's in my bag' post back in October. (the 6th one in November didn't seem to work? Will correct sometime in the near future though).

What's in your bag? Feel free to do a post on what is in your bag and leave me a link in my comments so I can have a look too! I love seeing what other people have in their bags so I can come to the realisation that I have too much/could add more to it!

homemade paperclips!

I made some paperclips using some craft stuff I found in my local W Boyes (a store that sells odds and ends it seems). They certainly brightened up my revision! Here are a few pictures to show them off.

currently craving...

If only I had a tenner to spare (as Harrods is only down the road and within a ten minute walk)...

My friends got me some Laduree Macarons for my 20th birthday and I have to say, I was touched because they all knew how often (i.e. not often at all) I get to eat these delights! The flavours in the selection box were (from left to right): pistachio, raspberry jam, coffee, vanilla (my personal favourite), lemon and dark chocolate.

They were heavenly.

undergoing new changes

As you can see, my blog has changed a bit in terms of aesthetics (only minor changes, mind you) and more changes will be underway in the next two weeks or so. I'm going to make slight changes so that I enjoy blogging like I used to; and to do this, I'm going to blog about ALL the things I love, rather than restrict it to a few. Currently, as most of you know, my blog is about stationery and diaries (which I do love), but I also love sport, fashion, food and a lot more. Because of this, I will be blogging about a wide variation of topics.

This probably isn't news to all of you as I have strayed with the ocassional blog post anyway and if you feel the new direction my blog is going in isn't something you want to read about, I won't be offended if you decide to unfollow my blog. After all, I don't want to force anyone to read about things they have no interest in!
