my week #146

My week was pretty chilled out - on Tuesday, I got the opportunity to make faces at two adorable twin babies whilst on placement.

However, on the blog front - it was a bit busier with the drawing of the Staedtler pen winners (congrats to the winners and thank you to everyone who entered!) and I've been working on a new blog banner. The new banner won't be revealed for another few weeks or so yet as I'm still tweaking it so don't expect a massive change anytime soon!

I'm liking the dedicated timeslots in my planner - it enables me to plan out my day though it does make planning the evenings and nights that bit more difficult as the last slot is for 7pm. Another thing is the day starts at 6am which means there is wasted space between the hours of 6 and 8am as during those hours, I'm usually getting ready to head to uni/am on the way to uni or placement.

How has your week been? And how are you getting on with your planner so far this year? Did you recently make a change like I did (as in from a ring binder to a bound planner or vice versa)?

  1. I like your current banner quite a lot, though I'm excited to see the change. I've started using my planner more regularly like you do, mostly for time management - and WOW I'm actually a lot more productive. It's nice to have checklists and whatnot so I know what I have to accomplish before the day ends, instead of always getting distracted and procrastinating.

Also, I would like you to know that you enabled me to spend a little over $100 on washi tape :P

    1. I'm no longer sure about the change now! I showed it to my sister and she said she prefers the current one :( We'll see!

$100 of washi tape! That must have been a nice little package in the post :) x

  2. Hi! It was very nice to find your blog just by chance! I've been looking through your posts and I found them very cute! I'm also a med student who loves stationery and organization, so it's perfect to get some new ideas!

    Regards from Spain :)

  3. Hi Angela! I found your blog through some links on Tumblr. and was wondering what you do with past year inserts after removing them from your filofax? I'd like to be able to flip through my old planners, hence my hesitance in using them! :> thanks a lot!

    1. Hi there! I store them away in a box - you can kind of see how I've stored them here (I sew them up using a needle and thread): http://www.paperlovestory.com/2013/05/my-own-personal-favourite-weeks.html

      Hope this helps! x
