Here is the old list:
I'm still tweaking the list - the aim is to add something to it once something else gets checked off. When I was younger, I always thought that I would have my life sorted by the age of 25 and as that is only eight months away, this list shows that couldn't be further from the truth!
Have you written a '30 before 30' list? If so, link me up - would love to see yours :)
I have ;) I was actually looking at mine earlier, I need to update it!
ReplyDeleteI may do an update post on the blog soon :)
Zoe xoxo
Your list inspired me in the first place ;) Can't wait to see what your new list will consist of! x
DeleteI did ages ago but I'll soon be 30 this year. And I'm OK with not having most of those items crossed off my list.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll get all of my items checked off either :) it's just nice to have a list of goals and aims written down so that I can have a glance at them to remind me of what I want at this moment in life hehe x
DeleteThis is such a great idea. i only did a resolutions list for the year, but this is much more motivational longterm!
ReplyDeleteIt is! And it's nice to be able to write down some long-term goals without making them seem too overwhelming (as this kind of list gives me just under six years to achieve them all hehe) x
DeleteI like this idea! Though I don't know if I could think that far ahead! I do like that you have quite a few things on your list that are things just for you (like the spa day or sing karaoke) - fun mixed in with ambitious is always a good way to go!
ReplyDeleteThat's why I changed my list recently :) I had one from before medschool but obviously, my goals changed since starting this degree hehe. The fun goals are to make me not lose interest in the list as goals that take too long or are too big can act as a deterrent :) x
DeleteMy brother went to Auschwitz recently. He described it as a very moving experience
ReplyDeleteI can imagine - films like Schindler's List made me cry buckets so I can only imagine what it will feel like being there in person x
DeleteThis is interesting, maybe I should give it a go. I tried to do the one line a day for 5 years. The first 6 months of every year were great and then I forgot and then there are days that you have nothing to say! On those days I would write a quote or song I liked at the moment :P
ReplyDeleteAnd if you ever need tips about living abroad let me know :) I've done several exchange programmes and I'm moving to Qatar in August! :D
I like the idea of writing a quote or a song you liked! I might integrate that into my daily planner :) :)
DeleteTo be honest, I'm not sure I'll ever have the opportunity to live abroad (at least, not until retirement) due to the nature of this career path! Thank you though, will keep you in mind :) :) Sounds like you have an exciting time ahead of you! Good luck with the move :) x
:D It's pretty cool and always fun to check what song you liked back then :)
DeleteYou could do doctors without borders? Or something like that? Thanks!! So far the biggest issue is learning to drive since I had no intention to do so but now it is a must! hehe x
Good list! What is this book you wrote?! That is one of my goals too, although not by 30.
ReplyDeleteHello! I did NaNoWriMo one year and a book was the end result. It's probably pretty rubbish but still an accomplishment :D x
DeleteI love making life lists and updating them. Great list! Maybe it's time I write a new one.... ;)
ReplyDeleteHehe, you could write another one if you already have one ;) can never have too many lists! x
DeleteNice list. I don't have a 30 before 30 list being that I am 36, but I do have a 40 before 40 list.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Did you make a 30 before 30 list (or something similar)? Would love to see how the two compare :) x
DeleteWe're the same age and I used to think that I'd had life figured out by now too, ha...how wrong I was. I love your list (SUCH a good idea!) and feel that I should adopt a few things off it and start my own!! It's incredible what you've accomplished already and I have no doubt that you'll have everything checked off within a few short years :)
ReplyDeleteI'm the same as you! I used to think that everyone would be sorted by 21 (uni graduation) but I was so wrong. I'm still figuring things out now at 24 hehe. You're too kind - I might get 80-90% of it checked off if I'm lucky but that's ok - it just means I was busy doing other important stuff which meant some of these goals weren't achieved :) x
