This week was the start of two things: a new placement of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the start of my brace treatment. I've opted to go for adult braces or 'six month smiles' and they went on on Friday. My teeth feel a bit sore and I'm on a purée/liquid diet for the time being but I'm staying focussed on the potential end result.
How has your week been?
I am lucky not needing braces, it's painful to wearer and wallet. My week's been bad, the hot and cold change is going to be the death of me
ReplyDeleteTotally true - painful to the wallet without a doubt. They've not been painful at all so maybe I'm lucky or have a higher than expected pain threshold hehe x
DeleteI had braces as a middle schooler and they weren't too bad. I still chewed gum and ate apples and popcorn, all against the advice of my orthodontist! I guess it was my little way of being rebellious. My weeks are shaping out to be longer and harder, but we'll all power through!

Haha! I'm trying to be good so am avoiding all the foods you mentioned :) Hope your weeks have been better since x
Deletemy mother just put braces on her bottom teeth as well as they started shifting with age! they're super quick if it's just to re-align them!
ReplyDeleteYep - just my front few teeth need doing (top and bottom) and I've been told 6-9 months so not too long! x

ReplyDeleteHi, Angela! I used braces when I was a teen, it was a bit annoying at the beginning, but the result was worth it. Good luck with the new placement! I hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely thinking about the bigger picture with these braces! :) x
