my week #40

It's been a mixed week. There was extreme snow on Monday - the day where I needed to go out and run some errands, and then in the (snow-free) days that followed, the car's windscreen wiper was literally stuck to the windscreen due to the ice. It's snow joke. (Sorry!)

The week culminated in yet more snow - and the snow left from Monday hadn't even melted yet so it's been a cold week here.

Without further ado, here's my week:



How do you like the new colouring I've decided to use for my pictures? I think the text is easier to read and there is less 'unnatural' colour to it too? Also, this is the last week shown in my Slimline Deco. From next week onwards, you will see pictures of my week in the binder I have been using for the past three weeks :)

How was your week? If you're in the UK, did the snow affect you? If you're not in the UK, what's the weather been like? I'm quite jealous if any of you are in Australia, what with it being your summer at the moment!

    Your weeks always look so pretty!

    As for snow... I'm annoyed because I left home on Friday morning to come back to University. As I left, it was snowing heavily and sticking - for the first time this winter. I got up to Carlisle and there's not a single snowflake in sight! Further up North and there's no snow... That really sucks xD

      Aw thank you!

      And trust me, no snow is a good thing. Things grind to a standstill after a flake of snow here. I remember when I was a kid in Scotland, once there was at least 30cm of snow and I still had to go to school! I guess that they were more prepared for it though x

    I love the little bubbles you have used for your tv shows on Wednesday. So cute!

    As for the weather, Friday was the hottest day in sydney history! 47.8*...jealous now? It felt like you where melting Lol!

      Hehe thank you! They are the Martha Stewart x Avery x Staples stickers that I cut in half :-)

      Woah, 47.8 is INSANE! The hottest place I've been to was Hong Kong in the summer of 2009 and it was a high of 39 degrees C and I was almost baked alive. At least, it felt that way! Not so jealous anymore haha, but if you share some of that heat in return for some of the cold temperature here, we could have a deal? :) x

      Woah, that doesn't sound as bad as in Sydney in the comment above, but still sounds better than minus temperatures (in degrees C). Is this the coldest it will get for you in California? x

      Last week it was 50 degrees in Southern California. We were getting flack from other states about how we were complaining how cold it was. LOL.
