my week #38

I feel that these weekly 'show and tell' posts I do of my week are somewhat similar to what fashion bloggers do. Instead of 'what I wore' posts, I show you the innards of my diary - same concept, right? ;) I'm not poking fun at fashion bloggers, I am just trying to draw a parallel - just in case someone gets offended!

Here was my week: it started with a quote and some 'happy new year' text (idea copied from eunyroe on flickr) - a quote to inspire me as a new year starts, and then a load of admin. We are moving house later this month and we have also undergone a lot of changes at home. For example, the food we cook has to be prepared and cooked in a certain way now - hence why there is 'soak vegetables' as a to-do on Thursday.

This is a somewhat boring week compared to previous ones and having opened a network of 'my filofax weeks/my weeks', I look forward to featuring them later this week (or possibly, every two weeks!) :)

How has your week been? I hope you have all had a brilliant start to the New Year too.

  1. Your Filofax is just too cute, looking through your photos is persuading me to dust off my Metropol and use it a little more. I've been thinking about getting a plain Moleskine to journal in, but I can't help but feel something is going to be redundant here. Do you keep a diary?

    1. Aw thank you!

I do keep a diary, but I don't write in it everyday. I only write in it when in the mood (I find it best that way) or when I have worries that need to be taken off my chest. As a result, I don't have a schedule for writing in it and therefore, feel no pressure to write in it. Hope that helps x

  2. I agree, your Filofax is just wonderful and really inspiring. I also loved your "what's in you bag" reviews but you seem to have stopped doing them :(
I have started The Happiness Project (which I discovered on your blog) and it will be part of my resolutions for 2013. Please let us know how you use it and make progress thanks to it.
Eager to read more of your pages ;)

    1. Aw thank you! I actually have a 'what's in my bag' post coming up later this month :) I don't do them regularly as they'd get boring if I did - I don't change what I carry around that often!

There will be monthly updates on the Happiness Project, so not to worry about that :) Hope yours goes well too, and that 2013 is your happiest yet :) x
